About Diane

My Work

Most of my career has been entrepreneurial, shaped by a deep interest in leadership, communication, and human potential. I began my career in the nonprofit sector before becoming a senior vice president at a major bank in New York City, where I gained an invaluable education in leadership and management. I later founded my own company and built a career as a professional speaker on leadership, communication and empowerment, speaking to audiences around the world, including Russia following the dissolution of the Soviet Union as well as India and South America. For more than 25 years, I also coached senior leaders at Fortune 100 companies and major organizations, including Viacom, Nickelodeon, MTV, HBO, Pitney Bowes, The Hartford, the US Army and the Social Security Administration.

I have also published many books on leadership, communications and empowerment which have been translated into more than 10 different languages. My books include titles such as: Take This Job and Love It and Blue’s Clues for Success: The 8 Secrets Behind a Phenomenal Business. The Blues Clues book came out of my experience as a coach to the Blue’s Clues leadership team in the early days of their success.

For more than 10 years I did extensive volunteer work with incarcerated women, teaching them basic life skills and leading a book group for long term offenders. My work and experience in prison taught me and gave me more than I can put into words.
